Hurry and sign up to be included in the 2018 Annual Performance Concert and Yamaha Grade Examination and/or ABRSM Examination program!
Certified Yamaha Grade 5 Instructor from Osaka, Japan, (certified since 1988) teaching children and adults classical piano (all levels, from beginner to advanced) in North Brunswick, NJ and NYC. Recitals are mandatory in order to cover the production cost as a small studio. I compose my own piano arrangements for piano duet classical pieces, contemporary, Christian worship, jazz improv., and/or all genre of vocal arrangements, and/or accompaniments of saxophone, flute, violin, etc. (only by auditions) for my students to perform for my biennial theatre show. Competitions are available but optional.
Note to students/parents: Performance is important; however, it is only recommended every other year for the formal theatre recital (and an award ceremony hotel reception, with our professional videographer from NYC shooting the entire show) and every other for the semi formal concert at my studio so that I can focus on teaching my students for their advancements and technical enhancements. Too many showcases are very destructive to students' learning; thus, leading to significantly slow learning curves.
I instruct and prepare students (of intermediate or advanced levels only) to undergo Yamaha Grade Examinations administered by Yamaha Music Education of America and ABRSM Exams by administered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music based in the UK. All my students have taken and passed these exams with Distinctions which is the highest score category possible. My students have achieved the HIGHEST DISTINCTION HONORS in the STATE OF NEW JERSEY, PENNSYLVANIA and DELAWARE for both Practical and Theory Exams of ABRSM.
