Reverse: The reverse depicts an olive branch, a torch and an oak branch. At the bottom there is the inscription 'ONE DIME', with the top of the semicircle inscription 'UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'. At the bottom of the inscription: 'ONE DIME' there is an inscription in the form of the motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' in Latin, which means literally – ONE FOR MANY.
