SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is actively seeking a Human Resource Manager for a manufacturing company in Hampton, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing 500+ employees across 2 locations. This person will provide leadership strategies to drive business results.
Provide hands-on leadership functions. Deliver Human Resource strategies that meet business needs. Develop positive employee relations. Implement a diverse and inclusive work environment. Utilize strategic recruitment processes and talent management. Provide performance management, organizational efficiency, and leadership development. Create team building programs. Perform benefit administration and payroll duties. Administer state and federal employment laws, EEOC Compliance, and worker’s compensation.
Bachelor’s Degree required. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Human Resource generalist function with at least 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required. 2 years of experience in Human Resource Management overseeing direct reports required. Labor relations and union experience required. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Experience working in a large and fast paced organization strongly preferred. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
