Jacksons Food Stores has an opening for the full-time position of HRIS Analyst that will be based in the IT department in the corporate office. The primary function of this position will be to liaise and facilitate projects and implementations between the IT, HR, and Payroll departments specifically in the area of the Ceridian Dayforce application. This position requires knowledge in general HR systems as well as some understanding of IT analysis to ensure successful implementation of projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working on and completing multiple projects and deliverables with limited supervision and be able to work both independently and in a team environment as needed
• Work with senior level IT systems analysts on and communicating upgrades, changes, testing, etc. with the HR and Payroll departments
• Create new reports in Ceridian Dayforce as requested and needed by primary users
• Be the primary Level 1 support person for the Ceridian Dayforce application, including researching questions that come up and providing detailed feedback
• Obtain feedback and new system needs from the HR and Payroll departments and communicate them to the IT systems analysts for feasibility and scoping
• Working to help audit data in the Ceridian Dayforce application on a continuous basis to ensure data integrity
• Researching, suggesting, and testing new configurations for automation of the system
• Documentation of requirements to implement new import/export needs to move data between Ceridian Dayforce and other business applications
• Work with internal teams to document the systems accordingly, and provide end user training as needed or requested
• Look for ways to optimize business processes surrounding business systems
• Participate in change management discussions and adhere to all change management policies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field and 3-5 years previous HRIS Analyst experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience with the Ceridian Dayforce platform preferred
• Knowledge of HR and/or Payroll systems and processes required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a challenging, fast-pasted, dynamic environment
• Ability to work at times outside business hours for infrastructure upgrades, outages, and implementations as needed
