Hub Service Manager Raleigh, North Carolina
This newly created role is an excellent growth opportunity for an industry expert (power and automation) with strong people-management and relationship-building skills, and combined experience of P&L, marketing and business-development initiatives. Your entrepreneurial spirit (or previous business ownership background) will drive your success in dramatically increasing our client’s presence in North America, Canada, and Mexico. You’ll quickly cultivate new business opportunities while unearthing and identifying new service-contract needs for established customers. Your strong leadership abilities will support the successful oversight of two service managers, as well as your efforts to establish and maintain a clear understanding of our client’s mission, direction and goals in others, at all times.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree (an MBA would be advantageous) in Engineering and/or Business, and possess 15 years, minimum, of industry experience.* An extensive commercial background with a high level of accumulated technical knowledge of the industry is necessary, in order to understand the markets and uncover the pipelines to new opportunities. Finally, an ability to clearly articulate with those at all levels throughout the organization—including, and especially, customers—is key to success in this high-visibility position. Forty percent travel, both national and international, will be required.
