Electrical/Instrumentation Technician Decatur, IL – BioProducts Facility
In this role as an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for instrumentation and electrical preventive maintenance and repair. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, propose and implement electrical power and control equipment, as well as process control component repair solutions. You will also need to use your developed skills to implement the assigned activities of the predictive, preventative, or planned maintenance programs designed to support the power, motor-control, process-control systems, or pneumatic systems of the plant.
To qualify, you must have a basic knowledge of AC/DC circuit theory process sensors/transmitters, electrical safety devices (breakers, fuses, etc.) and be able to work in environments with confined spaces and greater heights. You should have taken some related college-level courses (preferred). You will be expected to have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures. This role communicates with all levels of the organization.
