SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is actively seeking a Division Sales Manager for a client located in Grand Rapids, MI. This person will report to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for the management of their assigned region. The individual will additionally oversee all sales operations within their division.
Direct the progression of sales for the division and identify new revenue opportunities. Establish sales goals and assign sales territories. Assist and maintain relationships with internal and external customers while generating new customers. Determine customer needs, market trends, price schedules, and discount rates. Direct product modification to fit efficiency standards and eliminate unwanted items from sales line. Develop sales campaigns that to increase volume within the territory. Analyze and control expenses of division to maintain budget. Develop reporting for policies and sales. Collaborate with other departments to meet company and division goals. Evaluate and monitor competitors and their products. Maintain market knowledge of related trends, products, and information. Directly supervises all personnel within the department. Represent the company at trade associations and sales events.
2+ years of related experience or training in a sales environment required. Valid driverís license and acceptable driving record required. Ability to travel frequently required. Experience in Construction a plus. Bachelorís degree preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Eclipse.
