AQE – New Product Development EE Kalamazoo, Michigan In this versatile role, you will champion quality system support for R&D projects by providing input to R&D designs from a quality perspective. You’ll work closely with R&D to develop test strategies for product designs and analyze the risk associated with these designs, as well as provide statistical support and analysis. Your goal will be to improve quality processes as they apply to new/existing product design. You’ll be expected to participate and provide the necessary support to the HHA process. (Depending upon the project and team to which you are assigned, some travel to meet with vendors may be necessary.) To qualify, you should possess three to ten years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment or in a quality engineering role within a regulated environment, such as that in the automotive or aerospace industry. You should be cross-functional in expertise with an emphasis on manufacturing. Experience in a Quality role, familiarity with FDA and ISO requirements, and ASQ certifications (CQE, CRE, CQM, CSSBB) are required. You must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or an engineering-related discipline, with Electrical Engineering being preferred.
