Sales Manager Rochester Hills, Michigan As Sales Manager, you will champion sales of our client’s software products to manufacturing businesses throughout North and South America, alongside a supporting role in global sales. Using your understanding of the needs and requirements of existing and potential customers, you will develop solutions based on our client’s product line, and generate proposals that provide customers with the necessary tools and knowledge to resolve their quality issues. You’ll drive and manage the entire sales process, from sales forecasting, to negotiating pricing and contractual agreements, to account resource allocation, to closing the sale. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or an Engineering-related field (preferred, but not required), and possess one or more years of relevant sales experience. You must be technically proficient in engineering terminology and able to articulate and interact well with customers. Experience with Microsoft Word applications is crucial. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and able to work independently, and be goal directed and a good problem solver. Knowledge of SPC or statistical quality methods and CRM or other customer and project documentation software would be highly advantageous. An automotive industry background is also a positive. Finally, you must be able to travel domestically and internationally, when necessary.
