Automation Area Manager
Indianapolis, Indiana
As Automation Area Manager, you will champion the sales of a specific, recognized brand name in automation, along with other complimenting products. You will analyze the automation market, identify automation projects, make sales calls, and provide technical assistance to the distributor sales force. This position is a wonderful opportunity to thrive as a technical expert, build enduring relationships, and easily close sales, thanks to the almost-instant credibility associated with exclusive rights to a recognized industry name.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or another computer-integrated degree, or possess four or more years of work experience in a technical field. You must be goal-oriented, self-motivated and organized, with strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills. Importantly, you should be able to easily interface with people at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, decision-making and problem resolution capabilities, along with attention to detail will help ensure your success in this role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
