As an ArcSight Presales Engineer, you will facilitate the Territory Sales Representatives or the Account Managers in supporting Fortune 100-1000 accounts. You will conduct demonstrations and lead presentations, entertain accounts, as needed, and contribute from a technical vantage point. Specifically, you will gather and assess customer needs, identify potential problem areas and product roll-out data/training needs—all while proactively positioning the company’s strengths as a strong value to the account. You will then architect an appropriate solution to meet the accounts business requirements and account team strategy. You will actively seek opportunities to assist global peers while maintaining excellent communications with customer executive management and business executives around the world. To qualify, you should possess five-plus years of Presales experience in ArcSight and SIEM (security information and event management). You should demonstrate expert-level knowledge of the company’s products and services, as well as those of your competitors, and be able to leverage solutions to support customer IT strategic directions. Your proven, deep understanding of technical innovations and trends, as well as hands-on knowledge, will actively solve your customers’ business problems, and enhance productivity and processes. Finally, your demonstrated, strong communications skills with customer management, as well as C-level executives, will ensure your success in this role. A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, but not required.
