Your ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels will drive your success in this role! Working out of our client’s Moorhead, Minnesota, location, you will take charge of existing accounts, as well as acquire new business with the support of two outside sales representatives. Duties will include developing initial take offs, bids and proposals, proactively meeting with customers at their offices and jobsites, performing verification and measuring initiatives, tracking customer projects, reviewing contracts and conducting job costing. You will also resolve jobsite product issues, report on financial aspects of each project, and consistently seek to create a win-win solution for every customer. To qualify, you should possess a minimum of five years of sales and project estimating experience,* preferably within the building and construction field. Knowledge of the doors/frames/hardware industry would be extremely advantageous. Proven sales success in a fast-paced and demanding environment is a dealmaker, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities being a must. You’ll also need excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and time-management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. (Will need to travel to jobsites/contractors 25% of time.)
