Job Title: Construction Manager Location: Chicago, IL Work Status: Authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship
Requirements: (Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered.) • Knowledge and experience in electrical substation design, procurement and construction management. • The position prefers a B.S. degree in a technical field or equivalent field experience. • Assisting with the development of project scopes and schedules. Creates and updates construction 3-week look ahead schedules in MS Project. • Assisting with planning the design and construction approach. • Coordinates, plans, and supervises actions of field personnel and subcontractors. • Developing and complying with installation quality control procedures including material/equipment delivery inspections. • Developing and maintaining good customer relationships. • Primarily working at customer facilities (US and Canada) with overnight stays up to 3 continuous weeks in duration with a 4 day home rotation. Expected travel requirement will be 80%. • Develop site safety plan and procedures. Enforce said procedures to attain zero incidents.
