As a Sales Assistant Manager, you would be responsible for:
• Responsible for store performance goals and revenue growth/maintenance
• Coordinating with the Store Manager to develop creative ways to meet the Store’s Sales Goals and Maintain Reliable Collections Patterns
• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor
• Managing conflict and effectively resolving sensitive issues while being considerate of all involved
• Obtain new rental orders on the sales floor and over the phone
• Complete rental agreements as required
• Prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materials
• Keep coworkers informed of promotions and products
• Leading a Sales Team by coaching them on how to become more effective leaders and promoting an environment of collaboration
• Assist Store Manager with training and managing all coworkers
• Managing and maintaining the store’s inventory
• Assisting with product maintenance, delivery, service, and returns on a daily basis
• Keep showroom clean and organized, including vacuuming, dusting, and handling household cleaning materials
• Keep backroom and all store area neat, clean, and organized, including cleaning restrooms, and taking out trash
• Assist as needed in reviewing past due accounts and communicate in-person and via phone with customers to promote timely payments
• Assist as needed in loading/unloading truck, delivering merchandise and installing and setup up merchandise, and instructing customers on proper use
Job Qualifications
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Retail experience preferred
• Sales and collections experience a plus
• Friendly with exceptional communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be able to lift and move (push/pull) heavy items and merchandise as needed
• Typically works 47 hours a week
