Occupational Therapy Clinical Practice Coordinator DC Metro Area
In this essential role, you will serve as a lead clinician of the hospital’s inpatient, outpatient and community programs by providing administrative, programmatic and professional development services for the Occupational Therapy department at our client’s Pediatric Center. Additionally, you will spearhead progressive program development across inpatient, outpatient and community services, as well as day-to-day administrative/shared responsibilities. Your assistance with the monitoring/evaluation process of clinical care for our client’s department, along with mentorship/leadership development services for new and experienced Occupational Therapists will also be critical to your success in this role.
To qualify, you should be a graduate of an AOTA-approved Occupational Therapy curriculum and hold licensure from the District of Columbia and Maryland as an Occupational Therapist. You’ll need at least four years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist, with at least one year of experience supervising clinical staff. You must demonstrate a strong grasp of evidence-based methodology in the development, maintenance, and provision of clinical services, along with an ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with others, internally and externally. CPR certification is required.
