As one of our Outside Packaged-Gas Sales Representatives, you will drive profitable growth of the territory business by championing all aspects of industrial, medical and specialty cylinders, hard goods, and small-bulk gas sales. Products to include liquid and tube-trailer oxygen, nitrogen, argon, tube-trailer hydrogen, liquid carbon dioxide, and related distribution and application equipment. This will involve prospecting for new business opportunities, as well as managing a portfolio of existing accounts, and negotiating contract/purchase order renewals for same. You’ll provide first-line product and application support to customers and prospects, and coordinate/manage communication and support between customers and Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. Additionally, you will perform site surveys for new installations.
To qualify, you should hold an Associate’s degree, and possess one to two years or more of experience in industrial gases sales or industrial sales. Demonstrated conceptual understanding of industrial gas products, production, distribution, equipment and applications is required. Importantly, you must maintain a high level of personal safety performance and regulatory compliance.
