Behavioral Health Specialists, Inc., (BHS), is a recognized, community-based resource providing a vast array of services since 1992. Renowned for innovation in treatment, BHS meets clients wherever they are at, and helps them grow and develop until their goals have been fully realized. Joint Commission accredited, we operate two, short-term residential treatment programs: Seekers of Serenity in Columbus, Nebraska and Sunrise Place in Norfolk, Nebraska. In addition, BHS owns and runs foster homes, respite care homes, family support services and community support services. We currently seek the following professionals to join our staff:

Outpatient Therapist, Program Director, and Clinical Supervisor
Norfolk, Nebraska

The Outpatient Therapist will provide professional psychotherapeutic services for outpatient clients, as well as outpatient alcohol/drug abuse and addiction therapy services, including substance abuse evaluation, individual/family/couples/group therapy, and deliver client and community presentations. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Substance Abuse is required. The Program Director will ensure the overall functioning of our facility remains in compliance with both program and licensing guidelines, and that the care provided is consistent with the vision, mission, and treatment philosophies of BHS. To qualify, candidates should possess a Master’s degree and hold a LMPH license, Bachelor’s degree with PLADC will be considered. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee all clinical aspects of the Community Support Program and consult for our Youth and Family Services program, as needed. To qualify, applicants need a Master’s degree and a PLMHP/PLADC, LMHP, LIMHP or LADC license, a Bachelor’s degree with PLADC will be considered.
