Sr. Substation Project Engineer
Chicago, Illinois

Join a dynamic team within our Energy and Engineering Operation as you spearhead challenging substation engineering problems. You’ll call upon your combined, strong engineering and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and penchant for quality in this project-engineering role. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will direct design engineers and CADD/designer staff and conduct design-quality reviews. Work initiatives will cover the full range of project planning through design and construction support. There is a potential for interaction with clients and other staff at various, remote office locations.

To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), and possess five to six years of experience as an Electrical Utility Engineer working with high voltages (12.5kV – 500kV). Your background must emphasize, primarily, Physical Substation Design, with some controls and relay settings experience. Physical Substation Engineering consulting on a utility scale would be highly advantageous. PE or EIT certification is preferred, but not required.
