Tessy Plastics Corporation is a leading, global contract manufacturer of customer-designed products representing the medical, consumer products, business machines, electronics and packaging sectors. Family owned and operated since 1973, Tessy Plastics has grown from a very small plant with just a couple of machines to a contemporary campus of five sprawling buildings, each serving their own customer base. Our commitment to innovation is reflected in current, state-of-the-art machinery and equipment; we now have 230 machines—80% of which are electrical robots—with an average age of just 3.8 years. Other advances include three tool rooms servicing our plants, a fully staffed Engineering Department with 80 molds being built, and sophisticated simulation software from Sigma Soft. And our R&D Department relentlessly pursues new technologies and automation—one of the results being the recent acquisition of an ultra sonic molding machine. What also makes Tessy a standout amongst the competition is the fact that we go well beyond simple injection molding with value-added processes such as post-molding, finishing and testing. Moreover, we sponsor ongoing mold tech apprentice programs and training for SIM, using Bozzelli and Fimmtech. Last, but not least, our global presence is constantly expanding, in order to locate the most cost-effective and high-quality manufacturing solutions for our customers.
