National Sales Director
Cleveland, Akron, or Canton, Ohio
As our client’s National Sales Director, you will effectively lead a District Sales Team in the consistent achievement of revenue goals and through all facets of the sales cycle, including prospecting, customer assessment, analysis, strategies, best-practices, ROI modeling, key industry research rollout, focus group information synthesis, competitive intelligence, marketing/sales proposals and alignment with existing solutions. Importantly, you will recruit, select, train, develop, and motivate your sales team toward increased productivity, and coach members for optimum performance and achievement of sales goals.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, or five or more years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Our client seeks five years of direct selling and prospecting experience using various selling techniques. You’ll need strong leadership skills with proven success securing new opportunities over a wide spectrum of industries. Working knowledge of marketing/media products and services, including targeting capabilities, and distribution alternatives, is key for the successful applicant. Forecasting and sales reporting experience is a must. Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with highly developed client solution selling/targeting skills will also enhance success in this role. Finally, PC savvy that includes expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint will also be necessary.
