Heavy Equipment Shop Technicians and Field Service Technicians
Cedar Rapids, Davenport, and Cedar Falls, Iowa; East Peoria, Springfield, and Urbana, Illinois

In this customer-facing role, you will support Altorfer’s loyal customers in the field by performing onsite construction equipment service and repairs. This will include troubleshooting and repairing engines, hydraulic, electrical and other systems. In addition to providing excellent customer service, you will strive to build and maintain good relationships with your customers and their supervisors.

To qualify, you must have successfully completed a technical training program and/or possess two to four years of experience. Your background should include engine, electrical, hydraulic, diagnostic troubleshooting and repair work. Computer literacy, i.e., proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Excellent planning, organizational and time-management skills are musts for success in this role. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally (in writing, verbally and via email) is essential.
