Electronics Technicians Dover, Delaware As an Electronics Technician, you will monitor the plant’s production equipment and address sub-performing issues and/or emergency repair situations. You will respond to routine and non-routine production calls, and diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment malfunctions. You will install, debug and make modifications to new installations, and perform preventative (PM) and predictive (PdM) maintenance on equipment, as assigned. You will take responsibility for start-up and shutdown functions of all departmental equipment as dictated by production schedules. To qualify, you should be a high school graduate (an Associate’s degree or Electronic Technical School training is preferred) with five years’ experience within a manufacturing environment. You should possess a demonstrated knowledge of electronics components and debugging equipment, along with skills in electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, pneumatics and hydraulics. Proven knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance tasks is a must. This skill set, when developed fully, allows easy access to other careers and industries.
