Director of Nursing Wheeling, Illinois Our client’s Wheeling, Illinois, community is a 122-bed facility offering independent- and assisted-living quarters, and providing treatment for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, skilled nursing and long-term care, therapy and rehab services, and respite care. Working with patients and staff on a daily basis, you will strive to preserve the company’s faith-based spirit of “serving with joy” and lead by example in all that you do. To qualify, you should hold an Associate’s degree in Nursing (a BSNA is preferred), and possess three to five years of experience as a Director of Nursing, or as an Assistant Director of Nursing, in Senior Housing within the past two years. Your knowledge of regulations must be current. You may come from an independent living, assisted living or skilled nursing background. You will need current licensure as an RN in the state of Illinois. My client will also expect JACHO accreditation knowledge. You must be articulate and polished, with exceptional interpersonal skills, and exhibit strong management capabilities.
