Process Controls Engineer Catlettsburg, Kentucky As our client’s Process Controls Engineer, you will provide technical support for refinery operations, and facilitate the maintenance and improvement of the refinery control system. By applying fundamental chemical engineering principals, you will champion the development, implementation and maintenance of multi-variable controllers, On-Line inferred property models, Safety Instrument Systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems, PLC, DCS and Alarm Management. Some travel for training purposes and project support will be required (approximately 10%). To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and possess three years of experience within the oil industry, and two years in a Process Control capacity. Experience with a U.S.-based refinery covered by OSHA PSM regulations is preferred. Your resume should emphasize experience in the design and implementation of advanced process-control applications, process engineering and operation production support—including process simulation. Economic planning (LP modeling, scheduling, forecasting, etc.) and configuration and management of Honeywell systems and applications, including TPS, Experian, Profit Controller, and ACM, are also sought for this role. The supervision of operations or engineering personnel is a must.
