Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Manager Post Falls, Idaho
As Chief Nursing Officer, you will champion the everyday clinical operation of the hospital, which will include directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of various nursing services. You will work in concert with the CEO in achieving hospital objectives, developing and establishing personnel policies, and coordinating hospital activities with all management staff. You will also assure compliance with any governmental or regulatory body, and that all operations of the hospital meet the highest standards of health expectations.
To qualify, you’ll need at least three years of personnel management experience, along with demonstrated, role-related continuing education. You must be an excellent communicator, especially in the area of public speaking. Importantly, you must be willing to participate in goal-setting activities and any/all accompanying, continuing education that will support your professional advancement and that of others.
As Nursing Manager, you will use your excellent clinical, management and leadership skills in the oversight of our growing Pre-Op and PACU units. You will also assure regulatory compliance of the units, and serve as a valuable resource to the staff.
To qualify, you must possess demonstrated critical/advanced-care nursing experience within a Pre-Op, PACU, and ambulatory or critical care environment, complemented by three or more years of leading a staff. Sharp organizational abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are musts for success in this role.
Both positions require a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (a Master’s is preferred for the C.N.O.) and an Idaho RN license by start date. CPR and ACLS certification must be obtained within 60 days and six months of employment, respectively.
