The Human Resources Manager, ideally, has the potential to grow into the Human Resources Director role. In addition to recruiting, he or she spearheads all typical HR functions, including personnel policy and procedures, health insurance, employee benefits, insurance claims/suits, workers’ compensation, and both union and non-union matters. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager assumes responsibility for all project locations (multi-state), and travels to project locations as needed. Reports to the VP of HR & Safety, and the Area Manager.
Requirements: (Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (preferred) • Five to ten years’ experience, including work in the construction industry • Safety background (a plus) • A union background (advantageous) • Ability to travel to project locations, when necessary
