Technical Engineer
McKinney, Texas

In this essential role, you will champion the direct support of product sales by providing technical services and product development to Manner Polymers customers. This involves both guided and independent work in supporting new product introductions and troubleshooting applications. You’ll collaborate with other departments for commercial-scale introductions, evaluate competing products, and assist our Manufacturing and Quality departments with non-routine customer concerns and internal troubleshooting.

To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics, and possess at least two years of hands-on laboratory experience in either a product development, analytical services, physical testing, or quality control department. You should be well versed in methods for Physical Chemistry, including methods such as spectroscopy, calorimetry, or other analytical methods of material characterization, and be familiar with standard test methods for materials. Statistics, design of experiments, and analysis of variance will round out your experience. A background in manufacturing operations, shop-floor experience, or a demonstrated capability to work with shop-floor personnel with manufacturing equipment would be a definite plus! Capability of understanding machine operations and providing directions to operators would also be highly advantageous.
At Manner Polymers, we take care of our people with excellent benefits, including medical and dental coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and vacations, and much more.

Advance your technical career with a leader in flexible compounds! Send your resume and letter of interest to us. Please be sure to specify “Technical Engineer – 36893” in the subject line.

Manner Polymers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
