Our client is a leading wound care management company in North Carolina with a growing, nursing home wound care practice. They are currently in need of the following wound care professionals:
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) and Nurse Practitioners (NP)/Physician Assistants (PA) Asheville and Fayetteville, North Carolina As a wound care specialist, you will work in harmony with our client’s wound care practice within a nursing home environment. You will travel to 1 to 2 assigned facilities per day, where you will treat 15 to 20 non-acute patients per day. Duties include patient assessment, debridement of wounds, ordering appropriate dressings, medications and instructions, and educating the nursing staff. You will also communicate with PCPs, family and our client’s team members, as needed, and educate other personnel. Full training (2 to 6 weeks) in wound care will be provided, and you will enjoy a flexible schedule with no evenings or weekends required. To qualify, you must possess the skill set and background of either an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or a Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA). You should have the appropriate education (graduate degree) and hold ARNP or PA licensure to practice (unencumbered) in North Carolina. A Medicare number is preferred, and you must be Board Certified/Eligible, and fulfill all state requirements of the position. An ability to learn, teach, manage others, and be a team player is key to success in this role. Computer proficiency is required; bilingual ability is a plus!
