Nurse Managers Wakefield, Rhode Island As a Nurse Manager, you will bring your acute care and clinical skills gleaned from previous experience in a hospital setting to our client’s 20-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. This combination role will have you performing administrative duties while lending “on- the-floor” assistance to the nursing staff when needed. In the administrative role, you will spearhead operational plans, goals and budgets, and drive employment decisions, i.e., hiring and firing, and performance management (coaching, performance reviews). You will also take the lead in departmental staffing. To qualify, candidates should be graduates of an accredited school or college of nursing (Baccalaureate degree completed or actively in process) and hold current (or pending) RN licensure in the State of Rhode Island. Successful completion of BLS is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience. Our client seeks proven managerial prowess, along with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and distribute work responsibilities among the patient care team is key to success in this role.
