Business Development Manager
Boston, Massachusetts and Houston, Texas
As our client’s successful Business Development Manager, you will champion the delivery of solutions, not products. In this collaborative environment, you will work closely with operations to plan and execute successful projects and exceed customer expectation. You must be willing to travel, as needed, and assume responsibility for clients in the Northwest Region. If you are tech savvy and have a keen understanding of engineering and industrial controls, you will flourish in this role! Additionally, your capabilities in engaging C-level stakeholders and building strong relationships will be key to your success.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or the equivalent in experience, and possess 5 to 10 years’ experience selling engineering services/solutions within the automation industry, presumably to Fortune 500 organizations. Your strengths will lie in working within 12- to 18-month sales cycles and an ability to effectively maintain 10 to 20 accounts simultaneously. You should be able to interact brilliantly with C-level executives and be a whiz at implementing solutions.
