Area Manager Nationwide As our client’s Area Manager, your primary responsibility will be assuring the company’s success in servicing clients with aboveground storage tank needs, as well as meeting and adhering to company financial budgets and standings. This will entail ensuring that each project is equipped with the proper labor and non-labor teams required for the performance of the contracted work, plus maintaining complete satisfaction with the customer representative. Additionally, as Area Manager, you will assist the Sales Manager(s) assigned to the area in maintaining excellent customer status, as well as in identifying and developing new business opportunities with other industry prospects. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree and API 650 or API 653 certification, and possess 10 or more years of experience that includes strong management and/or leadership responsibilities. Polished sales skills and presentation abilities, combined with a keen knowledge of tank maintenance/construction, will make you a rock star in this role. Your staffing know how, understanding of API 65 or API 653 codes, and safety priorities will also be key to your success. Your natural entrepreneurial tendencies will aid you in starting new areas, estimating, putting together a crew, buying materials, establishing new relationships, and enlisting customer support.
