As EMS Planning Manager, you will champion all aspects of material management for our client and its manufacturing partners in order to meet customer demand and the required time to market. You will serve as the key communication point between Sales, Engineering, the EMS Partner and Material vendor, and drive all material management activities on a defined, regular basis. You will work with the Customer Service team to manage front-end demand, ensure all sales volume and revenue targets are met, and maintain optimum stock levels.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science Degree, or possess the equivalent in experience within a fast-moving/flexible supply-chain environment (preferably in a tech/electronics area). At least 5 years of experience in Supply Change management, and at least 3 years of EMS/Contract manufacturing are expected. (An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.) Your background must yield detailed knowledge of forecasting techniques, methods of inventory control and inventory strategies and applications, as well as sound financial knowledge. Proficiency with MRPII/ERP systems (Oracle/ SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel are also required. A proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team will contribute to your success in this role. Finally, you must have the flexibility to travel globally, on a regular basis, to visit internal and external customers/suppliers.
