Business Development Manager – Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX
Director of Business Development – San Antonio, TX
As a our client’s Business Development Manager, you will identify prospective clients and conduct presentations to promote the company’s experience and capabilities, as well as cultivate opportunities to submit proposals for future work. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating proposal estimates and participate in contract negotiations and renewals. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess 5+ years of experience calling on industrial services. You must have a “hunter” mentality, and be practiced at soliciting new customers while maintaining existing relationships. Writing proposals, managing accounts, building relationships, communicating with engineers, and full-scale researching of projects should all be present in your resume. Your background should showcase large-scale successes (100 million dollars or more in sales). Fifty to seventy-five percent travel within the region will be required.
As our client’s Director of Business Development, you will direct business development for EPC projects with major customers in refining, petrochemical and midstream sectors. You will execute direct customer engagement and the complete sales process (prospect through closing) to competitively position for, and close, EPC project awards. You’ll also champion relationship management and account planning responsibilities. Your focus will be on projects valued at 50 million to 1 billion-plus dollars. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess 10+ years of Business Development experience, preferably, in power ECP projects, project development or relevant commercial work. Ideally, you will bring established relationships with senior contacts in our client’s target markets, as well as those with major equipment suppliers to the U.S. power industry to the table. Fifty to seventy-five percent travel, nationally, will be required.
