Business Development Manager, Technical Services
This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional with deeply established military contacts to work remotely selling engineering services. In this challenging role, you will champion all new business development activities, including cold calling, attending trade shows, conducting/directing marketing research in order to identify new business opportunities, and performing account management duties—all while contributing to the development of the division’s annual new business plan and achieving your own individual new business goals. You will supply monthly forecast information for 3-month and rolling 12-month new business. As a key member of the proposal team, you will assist with the creation of comprehensive proposals and present solutions to obtain proven results, as well as collaborate with internal resources to prepare defined tasks and approaches. To qualify, you must hold a Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have 7 or more years of experience selling solid solutions/engineering services to the commercial aviation industry. Alternatively, you may come from a heavy industry or services industry background. You must be comfortable working as part of a team, albeit remotely, to develop quotations and create strategy around business development objectives. Technical publications experience is a must.
