Global Commodity Manager Franklin, Tennessee As Global Commodity Manager, you will lead the development and execution of strategies that achieve our client’s revenue, operating profit and purchasing objectives across all business segments. You’ll champion the development, execution and management of the procurement process and activities for purchased, finished-goods commodities, in order to provide demonstrated best-value cost of ownership and to ensure continuity of supply through a strategic supplier base that meets business requirements, i.e., in service, quality, cost and innovation. To qualify, you should hold a minimum four-year degree (a Master’s degree is preferred) and possess 5 or more years of relevant experience. Ideally, your background will encompass chemistry, enabling you to speak effectively to the engineering community. You will have a strong developmental background, and demonstrated ability in executing global commodity strategies. Your resume should also reveal capabilities in initiating market studies, as well as an in-depth understanding of the natural/synthetic process of chemical impact. Candidates from the tire/rubber industry will be front-runners for this opportunity.
