Quality Engineers, II and III Montpelier, VT
As our Quality Assurance Engineer II, you will leverage the commercialization of new products, as well as line extensions, formula and process changes. Additionally, you will support network-level quality-improvement initiatives. While there will be no direct reports, you will be expected to lead, mentor, and share acquired knowledge in all aspects of Quality with junior quality engineers. To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering or a technical field of study, or possess the equivalent in experience. Five or more years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred, with the food industry being a major advantage. Familiarity with HACCP and GMP principles, beverage manufacturing, statistical process control and test methodologies is preferred. Lean Six Sigma experience is highly desired.
As our Quality Assurance Engineer III, you will support the Beverage Quality supply chain, from a supplier and material quality perspective. Your focus will be on material conformance to specifications, and managing the ongoing capabilities of suppliers to provide conforming material, consistently, and in volumes to support business forecasts. To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a technical field of study, or possess the equivalent in a consumer packaged goods environment. You’ll need five-plus years of manufacturing experience for consideration. Knowledge of Manufacturing Practices, Supply Chain Planning and Program Management is required, as is varied experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Logistics and Marketing. Other requisites include structural database understanding/experience, project management experience, and supply-chain flow understanding. New product introduction and/or material qualification experience is expected, as is familiarity with HACCP principles.
