Production Supervisor Vermont As our Production Supervisor, you will track weekly productivity for measurable shift efficiency and areas that require improvement. You will hire, schedule and supervise full-time and temporary additional staffing in order to operate at or below budgeted cost for production. Your oversight of process documentation, improvement strategies and training program procedures will ensure consistency of operational tasks, cost reduction, space utilization, and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace. To qualify, you should hold a two- or four-year college degree, or possess 5 to 7 years of experience applying a comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures involved in coffee processing and packaging, or a related manufacturing field. Your background must include supervisory experience of a production team of 30 or more. A clear understanding of lean manufacturing, pull and visual systems is a must, as is that of TQM and use of tools and data for problem solving, decision-making and continuous improvement. Experience with PeopleSoft ERP or a similar system is also necessary. The rewards of working with us are tremendous!
