Automation and Controls Engineer
Knoxville, TN; Windsor, VA; Douglasville, GA; Williston, VT
As our Automation and Controls Engineer, you would support a variety of automated control systems for GMCR’s manufacturing systems. These systems range in scope from simple, single-loop controllers and relay logic to advanced HMI/PLC-based systems. As a Controls System Engineer, you would know and understand how to connect automation with the processes of coffee roasting, packaging and distribution equipment. To qualify, you should have a college degree, and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, or an extensive background in GPC. Your background must consist of Allen-Bradley and Rockwell FactoryTalk Automation machinery. This is a hands-on position calling for an individual who is willing to roll up his or her sleeves and work side by side with the Maintenance Technicians, Machine Operators, etc.
