Territory Sales Manager
Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX
As a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager, you will work from a home-based office, covering our client’s Louisiana/Texas territory. You will identify and exploit new sales opportunities by introducing the company’s products into targeted industries such as Oil, Gas & Petrochemical. You will maintain enduring relationships with an existing distribution network by providing superior sales and technical support. Other duties include the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts, the creation and execution of a territory sales plan, and the maintenance of an active call schedule accompanied by relentless follow-up.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, although good experience in lieu of education will certainly be considered. You may be an inside sales person of 4+ years, chomping at the bit to take that next step to outside sales, or a successful outside salesperson of 4+ years, looking for an invigorating new challenge. Your background should consist of high-volume/low value sales in the Petro or Electrical Distribution industries. Ultra Sonic would be huge! Experience with infrared cameras or windows is highly desired. Along with a very technical orientation and excellent communications skills, you should possess a high-energy, money-driven motivation. Most of all, you’ll need proven, strong experience building and maintaining relationships.
