Use your skills in sewing to teach foster youth practical life skills to help them prepare for aging out of foster care. Hand sewing, machine sewing and basic sewing skills help a child develop confidence and give them the tools to prepare them for independence. Help to teach classes to small groups of youths inspiring them to learn to repair there own clothing, sew on buttons, make a project, learn to read a pattern and iron. Two hour classes are just waiting for instructors to take the lead and share their skills. Background checks, supplies and training is provided.
