Radar Signal Processing Engineer Tucson, Arizona As our client’s Radar Signal Processing Engineer, your main focus will lie in providing Radar Signal Processing expertise to sustain, extend and grow new business. Responsibilities may include working in detailed, high-fidelity simulations written in C/C++ and Matlab, to develop, prototype, and test radar-sensor models and radar signal-processing algorithms, as well as in anechoic-chamber and field-test environments to test, verify, and validate radar-sensor and signal-processing algorithm requirements and performance. You will champion all phases of missile-radar development from program start up to live-fire test, and provide engineering support by participating in project design reviews and peer reviews, including technical briefings to internal leadership and external customers. You will be expected to produce technical documentation, including customer briefings and specifications. Our client seeks candidates who possess a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Math or Physics and six years of experience in radar signal processing that include work with MATLAB and CC++ programming languages. Your background must include digital signal processing, probability theory, stochastic signal processing and electromagnetic theory. Importantly, you should be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance. Alternatively, you may possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Math or Physics and four years’ experience in radar, communications or RF design, or two concurrent years of radar systems analysis or signal processing that encompass running and modifying tactical simulations, including embedded tactical code. Excellent written- and verbal-communication skills and the ability to pass a Single Scope Background investigation are also required.
