Our Client Company is a national manufacturer of nonmetallic electrical conduit, fittings, accessories, utility and communications duct, directional boring conduit and residential switch and outlet boxes. The preferred employer of the town, the company produces PVC elbows primarily used for electrical, water and sewer conduits. The annual salary is 50k to 60k dollars, with relocation assistance available (up to 12k dollars).
The Production Manager manages all aspects of the Specialty Plant Fabrication Department. He or she reviews and evaluates performance of line supervisors and hourly production employees, and also evaluates running conditions of fabrication equipment to ensure the highest quality and optimum output. Supervision and training of employees ensure they are working in a safe and productive manner. The Production Manager prepares reports and manages the Fabrication Department in compliance with corporate procedure, while being mindful of the collective bargaining agreement with the local Steelworkers Union.
Requirements: (Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered)
• High School diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience (5 years preferred) in the fabrication of PVC pipe elbows (an absolute!)
