Seeking a Process Engineer II/III Formulations EIPE23
Our Client Company is a world-leading specialty chemicals company. The annual salary is 86K -111K dollars, depending on experience, plus a 10 percent-15 percent bonus target, depending on the Engineer level (II or III). Relocation assistance is available. The Process Engineer II/III Formulations spearheads the support and/or the performance of pharmaceutical formulation process-development activities by executing experiments, assisting in the writing of supporting process documentation (URS, SOPs, Change Control, EAF, ETOP, etc.), assisting in pharmaceutical process development and design, and/or participation in, and support of, cGMP manufacturing activities. The individual in this role works on cross-functional project teams interacting with other engineers, formulators, production personnel, maintenance, QA, QC, analytical research and development, project management, and clients (as appropriate). Requirements: (Note: Only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered.)
BS/BA degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical engineering or other relevant scientific discipline with greater than 3-7 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or an MS degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline Effective written- and verbal-communication skills; an ability to clearly and effectively communicate observations, results, and outcomes to line management, project managers, project-team members, and clients Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant scientific principles, theories, procedures, or techniques Experience in DoE (a plus) Experience with one or more solid or semi-solid parenteral formulations such as microspheres, implants, polymeric nanoparticles, lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, and micelles. Experience working in a cGMP environment or ability to quickly learn and apply cGMP principles; aseptic experience (a plus) Proficiency in MicroSoft Word and Excel; Project, Visio, Access (definite pluses) Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
