Our Client Company is a world-class leader in the design and manufacture of high-lift structures, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components. They are currently seeking a Quality/CI Manager Machining in Stillwater, OK. The salary is commensurate with experience and relocation assistance is available.
The Quality/Continuous Improvement Manager champions the quality and continuous improvement of the company by directing, leading and supervising the development of a total quality environment with an emphasis on excellent customer satisfaction and continual quality improvement. He or she ensures that processes and products are in compliance with current implemented Quality Management System and customer requirements. The Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement Manager manages a team of Quality personnel to ensure the administration of the companys quality, process and/or business improvement efforts. This individual is responsible for interfacing with engineering, productivity, customers, and suppliers on quality and lean/continuous improvement related issues.
Requirements: Minimum of Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Quality or a technical field Four to seven years of management experience; a manufacturing environment is preferred Five years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in an Aerospace manufacturing environment ASQ certification (preferred) A solid understanding of LEAN principles and manufacturing processes (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive resolution or solutions from data Ability to develop and implement action steps and follow up with the people responsible for them Strong oral- and written-communication skills with Microsoft Office experience
