Our Client Company is one of the largest large-diameter line pipe companies in the world, manufacturing and supplying some of the most critical pipelines around the globe. They are currently seeking a Welding Engineer in Little Rock, AR. The salary is 65K – 75K dollars, depending on experience, with relocation assistance available.
The Welding Engineer ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of various welding activities (i.e., setting, quality, and productivity) through ID/OD welding systems and troubleshooting, as required for welding-related issues. He or she also takes responsibility for preparing and maintaining welding-related documents, such as WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, work instructions, JSA, welders’ training, and more. Additionally, the Welding Engineer must maintain all equipment and support and/or coordinate all maintenance activities. He or she also ensures the effective utilization of machines to obtain desired output from testing equipment without compromising quality and safety.
Requirements: • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science with 1 to 2 years’ relevant work experience, or an Associate’s degree in Engineering or Science with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience • Alternatively, consideration for appropriate combination of training, education and experience for outstanding candidates with demonstrated excellence on the job • Good computer skills, especially with MS Office, Excel and SAP
