Our target client is a small or medium sized business with an annual transportation budget ranging from $10,000 to $3MM per year utilizing multiple modes of small parcel, LTL freight and expedited international freight. Worldwide Express Key Account Manager position The Key Account Manager is part of the business development program and is an integral position in the Worldwide Express organization. The position will focus on managing current customers to maximize retention and reduce customer attrition. In addition, the Account Manager will focus on selling opportunities within the current customer base and new business accounts. This position is NOT just managing accounts; you will be responsible for selling as well! The Key Account Manager will also focus on win-backs. The position focuses on developing long-term relationships as well as building value by consulting with customers on their supply chain needs. The business development program offers many advancement opportunities for AM's to grow into senior and district account management positions. Training and Development Business Development Managers can expect extensive training and development on an ongoing basis. Corporate level training is provided in multiple weeks of classroom style seminars within the first 18 months, and ongoing training and development is provided at the district level by Sales Manager personnel. District sales teams are fairly small; generally consist of 3-6 individuals, therefore many resources are allocated to the development of our entering staff.
