Position: Receptionist Reports to: Office Manager FLSA Status: Hourly SUBMIT RESUMES TO: SUMMARY: Rausch, Sturm, Israel, Enerson & Hornik, LLC (RSIEH), a multi-state law firm specializing in consumer debt-collection has a position available for a Receptionist in its Dallas office. The Receptionist will work as part of the mail team and will be primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, routing them to their proper recipient, taking and relaying messages as needed, sorting mail. The position will also provide support for various office functions, including mailing, filing, scanning, copying and data entry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Answer incoming phone calls and route them to their proper recipient Update electronic files based upon calls and mail received Review and analyze litigation files for proper coding and routing Assist with mailing, faxing, copying and redacting of exhibits, as well as other general clerical tasks Data entry EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Required: Office clerical/administrative experience Ability to multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced environment Data entry experience Experience with M.S. Office Ability to process through large volume of mail daily Position is highly structured and repetitious Preferred: Some college education and or paralegal studies Familiarity with legal terminology preferred, but not required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
