Our Client Company is one of the largest large-diameter line pipe companies in the world, manufacturing and supplying some of the most critical pipelines around the globe. They are currently seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas. Salary is determined on experience with relocation assistance available. The Industrial Electrical Engineer spearheads the preventive maintenance and periodic inspection of equipment, locating and correcting problems before breakdowns occur. He or she advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous and, when needed, installs new electrical equipment. When breakdowns do occur, this professional implements the necessary repairs as quickly as possible in order to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
Requirements • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalency • 1 - 4 years’ hands-on experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment • Strong industrial engineering knowledge • Ability to analyze and interpret electrical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical literature • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public • Knowledge of MS office; PLC programming (an advantage) • Effective oral- and written-communication skills
