Position Overview As a key member of the management team, the Controller will assume a strategic role in the management of the company. The Controller will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, costing, lender compliance, metrics and analytics. Essential Functions • Provide leadership in the development of the system for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives and operational performance • Provide timely and accurate analysis, consolidation, and reporting of budgets, financial trends, forecasts, operational performance metrics, and inventory • In conjunction with the procurement department, take a hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive cost system • Oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization including billing, payroll, receivables, payables, etc. • Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of long range planning, introduction of the company's new programs/strategies, and regulatory action • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the financial management team so as to identify their needs and anticipate cross-team solutions • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business operations • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting • Monitor cash flows and ensure an appropriate level of physical inventory, to include raw and finished goods • Responsible for conducting yearly physical counts as well as daily accuracy in conjunction with warehouse managers Requirements • BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable • 3+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • PC proficiency is essential Interested applicants should submit their resume and a brief cover letter to Albert Fonticiella ().
