Our Client Company is a one of the largest large-diameter line pipe companies in the world, manufacturing and supplying some of the most critical pipelines around the globe. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Little Rock, Arkansas. Salary is determined on experience with relocation assistance available.
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer exerts total control over maintenance activity during shifts, and functions as a team leader when his or her crew installs, troubleshoots, and repairs plant equipment. This professional and the team work with plant machinery, as well as the plant building (including doors, HVAC, rooftop fans) as needed, and specializes in installing heavy equipment when required.
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution • 4-5 years’ hands-on experience with hydraulics in an industrial setting (a huge plus!) • Strong mechanical engineering knowledge that includes advanced knowledge of hydraulics • Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical specs • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public • Knowledge of MS office; SAP/ERP • Effective oral- and written-communication skills
